Cookie policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. They can remember a preference, support a session, or provide an aggregated understanding of how pages are used. Naluri keeps the number of cookies limited and does not use cookies to infer sensitive health characteristics.

2. Essential operation

Essential storage may support security, navigation, and the display of this preference banner. These records are generally short-lived session records or may remain for up to 12 months where necessary for a stated preference.

3. Preference record

The site stores the choice represented by cookieChoice in browser storage when a visitor accepts or rejects the banner. This preference is retained until the visitor clears it or the site asks again. It contains a simple choice, not a name or contact profile.

4. Analytics

If analytics is enabled in a future deployment, it will be configured to report aggregate page use and may use a 13-month lifespan for a measurement identifier. Naluri will not combine analytics identifiers with contact messages without a lawful and clearly explained purpose.

5. Third parties

Embedded media, fonts, or external links may set their own records when loaded. Their operators control those technologies and publish their own policies. We review external services for necessity and avoid embedded tools that create disproportionate tracking.

6. Managing choices

Visitors can reject optional cookies through the banner and can remove stored records through browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect some convenience features but should not prevent ordinary reading of public articles.

7. Retention

Session records end when the browser session ends where technically possible. Preference records may last 12 months. Security records connected with consent and abuse prevention may be retained for 90 days before deletion or aggregation.

8. International processing

Technical suppliers may process cookie-related data in other jurisdictions. Contracts and access controls are used to limit the information and purpose. Contact the desk for a current provider description.

9. Rights

Questions about identifiers, access, deletion, or consent can be sent to Jalan Cempaka Putih Raya No. 15, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, 10510, Indonesia. We aim to answer within 30 days.

10. Updates

This policy was revised on 5 October 2026. Changes to cookie categories, providers, or lifespans will be reflected with a new date.

The site may use a session cookie named naluri_session for temporary navigation and security context; it expires when the browser session ends. A preference cookie named cookieChoice may remain for up to 12 months and records only an accept or reject choice. If a measurement service is enabled, a first-party or configured measurement identifier may remain for up to 13 months, subject to the visitor’s optional consent and the settings described at the time.

Cookies do not normally contain a reader’s name, telephone number, or message content. A browser may still expose technical information such as device type, language, approximate location derived from an IP address, and timestamps to a hosting or security provider. These records are used for continuity, abuse prevention, aggregate measurement, or remembering a stated preference. Naluri does not intentionally use them to infer sensitive health characteristics.

Optional analytics will be disabled when a visitor rejects optional storage. Where a third-party service is necessary for embedded media or delivery, that provider may process technical identifiers under its own policy and may transfer information internationally. Naluri reviews those services for proportionality and removes integrations that are no longer needed. Readers can inspect, delete, or block records through browser controls, although doing so may reset the preference banner.

Questions about cookie use can be sent to Jalan Cempaka Putih Raya No. 15, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, 10510, Indonesia, or +62 813 7890 2468. We normally acknowledge a request within seven business days and aim to explain the relevant record within 30 calendar days. This policy was reviewed on 5 October 2026 and will be updated when the cookie inventory, technology, or applicable Indonesian requirements materially change.

The cookie inventory is designed around a small number of practical functions. A session record named naluri_session may support temporary security and navigation context and normally expires when the browser closes. A preference record named cookieChoice may remain for up to 12 months and stores the visitor’s choice about optional cookies. If measurement is enabled, an analytics identifier may remain for up to 13 months, subject to the consent mechanism shown to the visitor.

Cookies may be first-party records set by Naluri or third-party records associated with a service used for hosting, security, measurement, or embedded content. A provider may also receive a request timestamp, browser information, approximate network location, or referring page. These data points are used for continuity, abuse detection, aggregate reporting, or remembering a stated preference. They are not intended to reveal the contents of a private message or infer sensitive personal characteristics.

Necessary records are used because the page or requested function cannot operate reliably without them. Optional analytics and preference features are used only where the visitor’s choice permits them, and refusing optional storage should not prevent access to ordinary editorial pages. A browser’s private mode, deletion controls, or global privacy setting may affect how the banner behaves. Blocking all cookies can reset choices or make a navigation feature less convenient.

Service providers may process limited technical information in other countries under their own contractual and privacy arrangements. Naluri reviews enabled services and removes a cookie when its purpose, provider, or retention period is no longer justified. Visitors can inspect, delete, or block cookies in browser settings and can contact Naluri for an explanation of the current inventory. Requests are normally acknowledged within seven business days and answered within 30 calendar days where the relevant record can be identified.

This policy was reviewed on 5 October 2026. If the technology, providers, lifespans, or consent choices materially change, the review date and relevant description will be updated before the change is relied upon for optional processing.
